About Tony Ord Fitness 

Hey,

My name is Tony Ord, I’m a personal trainer based in Birmingham.

I mostly work with busy men over 40 who have decided that they want to get fitter, healthier and lose some weight. My unique exercise and training system help then lose weight faster, get stronger, fitter and pack on some muscle at the same time.

On top of that my I help my clients get to reduce their stress levels, move better and feel healthier using a mix of resistance and cardio training personal sessions.

1. What problem were you having before you discovered Tony?
Lack of control and discipline over my eating and fitness plan.

Staying focused as I tried to stick to my plan. I felt frustrated with myself if I did meet my own expectations.

1. What problem were you having before you discovered Tony?
I'd discovered that I'd got spinal stenosis, a structural back problem which affects the sciatic nerve. There's no cure for spinal stenosis, but I wanted to build up some general strength in my back to try to protect the weak area.

2. What did your frustrations feel like as you tried to solve that problem yourself or with another trainer?
I knew I couldn't cure my spinal stenosis, but I was hoping I could do something to help - my problem was that I didn't know where to start with exercise, as I'd not done any before.

3. What is different about how Tony works?
Tony put a lot of effort into finding out about spinal stenosis to make sure that what he did with me wouldn't impact badly on it. He made sure he started where I was and built my confidence gradually, showing me that I could do more than I thought I could. I felt quite intimidated by the prospect of starting to exercise regularly, but Tony helped me to relax and take it step by step.

4. What was the moment when you realised that things were working towards solving your problem?
It was great to realise that I was growing in confidence about exercise, and more than that, was really enjoying it too. My core felt stronger, and that made my back feel less vulnerable.

5. What does life looks like now Tony is solving your problem?
I can't believe how much I enjoy exercising now. This is not just in sessions with Tony either, because he has given me the confidence to exercise independently too. I still have spinal stenosis, but I feel I've done everything I can to help myself and I feel stronger and fitter than I have for decades.
